Looking to fulfill PageSpeed Insights recommendation to use next gen image formats but Concrete CMS doesn't support them? Our add-on will automatically convert and optimize your uploaded site images.
You won't need to change what you upload, edit any images, or run any jobs. Our add-on detects if a JPG or PNG is going to be delievered to a user, and checks to see if a WebP version of that files exists and serves that file instead. If not, it will automatically create a WebP version of that file and then serve it. If no file can be found or created, the original will be served.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Concrete CMS version 8.3.0 and up
- Images must be on local disk / default storage location. (This add-on will not work with remote storage locations such as Amazon S3 and Azure.)
- php-xml extension (you probably have this)
- PHP version 7.2.5 and up
