We have your addon on installed on our website until we switched to the newest concrete5 version 8.5.2 and the whole site crashes. we removed the package and everything except the background slider works. Unfortunately we have no clue to fix it and our developer has abandoned development in concrete5, so we can't find out. All what we know, it's a JSON error showing.

Is there a patch for 8.5.2?

I've only tested up to 8.5.0 but it should work. Happy to look into it but I need to install a dev environment with the latest C5 first. I'll try get that done asap.

Ok. I've tested on a fresh install of 8.5.2 and it all works as expected.

What's the error you are getting? I'm happy to take a quick look at your site and see if I can't work out what's going on.

without captions it works well.
we try to get in touch with our developer, so she could get the newest version available. i hope that fixes the issue.
