Feature Request: Alert on Closure of repeatable element

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Just wondering if an alert could be added so that whenever someone closes a repeatable element that was just added, they could be alerted just to make sure this is something they want to do. I say this because if after doing a great deal of work, a client accidentally closes something by clicking an x button, there will be much crying and no way to recover. Not sure if this is possible. Thanks much.

Hi there,

It shouldn't just be for repeatable items then, as you can have a long list/form anyways. I will see if this is possible. Will put it on the todo-list!

Kind regards,

Ramon

Hi there,

If you update to the newest Block Designer first, and then to Block Designer Pro, you should be good to go. There are quite some changes code wise, so you actually need both to get the full working features.

Let me know what you think!

Kind regards,

Ramon

Hi thanks for all the work on this. I did try it out after the update. However, does it require that I make a new block to take advantage of the effects? It doesn't seem to work on blocks already created. Thanks much.

You will need to re-create them indeed. This won't affect any already existing ones indeed. I can give you the code to implement it though or if you have 1 block, I can do that too. For all blocks you will create as of now, it will work out of the box!

I just realized that for whatever reason, the version information on the controller is still showing as 1.1.0 instead of 1.2 after the upgrade. Does this mean there was an upgrade or do I need to fix something on my side? Block designer upgraded just fine and so do other packages. Only the pro has this issue. Thanks.

Silly me, yet again I forgot to edit the version in controller.php. I updated Block Designer Pro, hope it's allright now. The Add-On was indeed updated, the version number was only still stuck. Sorry for the inconvenience!

By the way, when you have the time, I would appreciate a review for both Add-Ons. This will help others and me a lot!
