update the extension manually

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I bought the newer version of the block designer and I want to install it manually.
The currently installed version is 1.3.7
What happens if I uninstall the old version and install the new one? will my previous content be destroyed? I know I can connect with the community, but that's not an option at the moment.

Hi there,

You could just overwrite the folder in the /packages directory, that should work too. No need to uninstall first. Before doing any changes, not this change, make a backup first - just in case something went wrong!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Kind regards
Ramon
