This package will give you great flexibility to create and maintain custom block types

concrete5cojp
Write config file as PHP array, then build a custom block type.
It's a simple idea, but this is what I wanted in years.
The greatest part is that the config file is a PHP file.
You can get any objects like pages, files, folders through concrete5 API, then you can pass it as option value. It's really flexible. I love it.
You'll become to love this package if you already use Block Designer.

Thanks HIssy for the kind words! Glad you like it, after being a fan of Block Designer for a while. The configuration with PHP should indeed give more freedom and flexibility, though maybe somewhat uncomfortable for non-developers. So Block Developer is a bit more developer oriented, but should be the successor of Block Designer for most anyways (due to its extras and flexibility).

Great that in a short period of time you already feel the difference, that's how it should be! Would be fun to know also at a later point, if you're getting quicker and handy-er making Blocks :)

This is a must have addon for any serious project

This is the addon I will buy for almost every project, since it usually saves days of works and the associated bugs. Before this I used Block Designer from the same author, but this one is better if you code - it's faster and since it's all text based, your block definition are under version control and part of your packages, you can easily copy/paste or better build functions to build block definition or factor the repetitive parts. It costs less than a hundred euros and it saves hours or even days of headaches and repetitive and boring coding.
I only have two negatives with the addon : it should be part of the core of Concrete5 and it would be nice to have a few more built-in types.
