Is image transition speed adjustable?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Bit of a C5 newbie question. Is there a way to control the speed of the fade from image to image? I don't see it on the edit panel, but perhaps in the css code? If possible I would like a slower fade across than whatever the default is, and it seems that at least one of the sites linked from the reviews (http://broadnax.ch/en/media/photos/) shows the slider operating with a longer fade across. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
And thanks for a fantastic tool. I am looking forward to putting together my first responsive C5 site.

Thanks, James. It was a piece of cake with your clear instructions. Found the file and made a test edit of the duration value. Works just great and I'll decide on a final value in the finished site.
Again, thanks for this nifty tool and the great support.

Richard

You can change the duration of the slide fade transition, but you will need to get your hands dirty (ie there is currently no configuration option to do it).
The simplest way to change the fade duration will be to update a file called jquery.blueberry.js. This file can be found within your Concrete5 install under folder /packages/tra_blueberry_slider/blocks/tra_blueberry_slider/js
At the top of this file there is a line of code that looks like
The 500 represents the fade duration in milliseconds (1 sec = 1000 milliseconds). Try changing this number to something larger, and the fade duration should become longer.
I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have any problems.
Regards
James
