How is a "session" defined?

I have installed Bounce Box, however when I set it to Once per Session, it does not appear if I leave the application and come back. In fact, it only appeared once: when I Published my changes.
I would like it to show when the user initially comes to the Home page; not again. If the user leaves the application and come back, it will show when the home page is initially displayed.
How can I change it to conform to my needs?

I've read your message previously and responded. Here is my message again, just to clarify "Once per session" should only launch the box when visiting the site for the current "session" of the browser. Meaning if you refresh the page it won't launch anymore unless you reopen the browser again. So as expected the box should should only bounce once for your site and should only be seen again when the browser is closed.
So with your requirement the best option for you is "Once Only" that should only launch once for specific users (same device).
