No idea why it stopped working, I put in a support ticket 3 months ago but no luck.

A great solution for displaying your Google Calendar on a website

foiseworth
We actually used this to display the receptionist's outlook calendar on our intranet homepage (via outlook to google calendar sync). It worked fantastically with minimal configuration.

The developer fixed a minor bug I found within two days, great response! I am however only giving 4 stars due to the difficulty in applying a custom template due to how the app has been built but the developer has stated he will fix this in a future version.

Very nice calendar!!

I think this is a really good add-on that is extremely easy to setup. After modifying a few things in CSS which was easy, it fits well within my theme.

I do wish there was a full page calendar as well. I hate using iFrame and Google Calendar for that page. That is really the only thing that keeps it from 5 stars for me.

Great Add-On, Looking forward to more features

I really like what this can do so far and I know an updated version is in the works so really looking forward to that. Some suggestions: An agenda view option, a mini calendar feed option (would be great on the homepage), & the ability to block dates. Also not sure if it is possible to change the size of the calendar within the block? It presents as pretty small on a page I have dedicated just to the calendar. Thanks so much!

Simple attractive calendar without sitemap clutter

Ideal for my requirements as I need a novice with C5 to add to the calendar and the heavy duty add-on I purchase was too cumbersome, sending viewers to a separate page for events.

The pop-ups and tidy interface look very slick.

On the negative side, it would be nice to see the events within the calendar rather than having to click a date then reveal the details.

Thanks for your help with the download Dean...

Thanks Trixiemay!

Ya, showing days with events in the Month pop-up would definitely be good. I initially decided to not do so because of wait-time to retrieve the events from Google if they weren't already cached locally, but you are right that a user needs to see them. I'm thinking I might add the feature with an option to enable/disable it so both are possible.

OK, but improvements needed!

This app is quite OK but I'll have some suggestions:
- A week overview that starts at Monday
- Highlighted events in calendar view
- Events summary
- Customizable colors en fonts

Thanks udi11!

Most of those are currently in the development queue so they will be coming in a future version!

You know with all due respect, a review without any supporting comments, suggestions or even actual specific criticism is not a very helpful review to either those that may potentially be interested in an addon or even the developer that could benefit from such a review by improving his addon based on the provided feedback!

I can certainly appreciate that not everyone is going to like the addon but there is nothing more frustrating than getting a 'bad' review without any legitimate grounds to support it. Beyond this actual 'review', there were no questions asked, support tickets filed or any other forms of communication regarding the addon to indicate what problems, challenges, missing features etc. that you were experiencing. Had you sent any such communications prior to this 'review' I could have responded in supprt as I do with all such communications for this addon despite its being merely a hobby of mine!

I would still appreciate actual specific feedback to support your disappointment and would appreciate it if said feedback could be given in a constructive manner.

Great addon

Great work... I've been using another calendar block and although it was good, it didn't quite slip into our theme as nicely as we had hoped.

I stumbled across this block and it has worked a charm. We have different departments all needing to update calendars and this can tie in all calendars into one user interface.

I would love to see colour coding of events for multi calendars just to make it easy to determine which calendar has events etc. The developer has agreed this would be great so hopefully something coming in the future.

Check outhttp://www.mugsu.org.au/entertain-me/mugsu-events/... (got to event calendar within the tabs) for a customised version. All simple CSS changes.

5 Stars from me. :-)

Easiest Calendar Yet!

tallacman
Even with the time it took to set up the Google calendar account and navigate Googles sometimes dubious interface, this is the fastest way to add a calendar to your site I've seen.
You can add multiple google calendars feeding to one instance of the calendar on your site, much like the full scale calendar block in the marketplace.
Adding events to Google Calendar is a real easy, one click deal and is very faster at inputting events so updating your calendar is easy.
There are a few styling issues yet to work out but the developer is responsive and quick with the updates.
One thing I like is having my client update his calendar without logging in.
Here is an example:http://tomteasley.com/test/contact/...

Please let me know if the link is dead and I'll change it. This site is in development.
