Can the hover mask be disabled

Hi Shahroq, Ive been put in touch with you here by Concrete5 support.
I have website and I'd like to use a justified gallery such as yours. The issues I have are:-
1/ Is it possible to disable the hover over thumbnail mask in the settings? I don't want masks to come up when the photos have the cursor placed on them, at the most I'd only want the most subtle highlighting to surround the image.
2/ On your demo galleries, it seems to take a long time to load each photo. Is there a reason for this?

1- For disabling hover effect uncheck checkbox beside "Hover" tab.
2- I don't think that has anything to do with add-on.
