The Location Map blocks allow you to sort optionally by a combination of Country, Province / State, City / Suburb fields, then by the Location Name.

These sort options also allow you to display relevant headings, which can be useful to group locations by geographical region.

Custom sorting

If you have custom sorting needs, for example, you have a 'Head Office' that you wish to always appear at the top of the list, you can utilise the 'Sort Text' field on a location.

If this is used, it will be referred to instead of the location name when sorting is performed (but this text is never displayed).

You can use values like 'AAA' or '00001' to force the particular ordering of locations this way.
