Feature Request: Link to Page
Permalink Browser Info Environment
This is a feature request / suggestion.
I was thinking it would be a good idea to add a field to link to a page within the site, so that each location is affiliated with a specific page.

There is always the option of adding in a link (or multiple) to the info window popup - see attached.
Is this more a request to associate a location with a page, so then when you click on the marker it goes _directly_ to the page instead of popping up the info window first?
This challenge with doing it this way is that you then remove the ability to utilise the info window on a map - it would be pretty painful to have some links go to pages, while others pop up windows, as a user I'd want them to be all one or the other.

Thanks for your reply!
No, it's not about clicking the marker and then going directly to a page. What would be nice in our case is the same functionality the Feature block provides: a dropdown to select 'Another Page' or 'External URL'. This link would then be displayed in the info window.
(Maybe the user could be informed about whether the links open in a new window by displaying an icon next to it... but I see, it's not an optimal solution.)

Sorry for the delay
What you've described sounds really just like a shortcut to directly entering in a link into the extended details. As that can link to files, other pages or external urls, and you can be also naturally specify the actual link text and formatting, wouldn't that actually end up more flexible, with not really any extra clicks?

we're working on a project for a real estate agency which lists several properties and also displays them on the location map. it would be nice to be able add a link to a property page from the map.
