cycle on time

yes, this feels similar to the randomizer in terms of UI. What makes it different is two things:

1) the ability to choose a time based cycle for content to randomize on. The randomizer loads new content with each page load. This lets you control how often to choose a new piece of content. That's a pretty fundamental difference.

2) yes, the content. No I don't think people who buy the randomizer block should be blessed with the hundreds of Scripture and Mark Twain quotes as scrapbooks that this comes with. Different problem.

These two blocks certainly have some overlap from a technical prospective, but they serve different business needs and thus are different products. By all means if you can write one solution that does both and works well, submit it to the marketplace and we'll post it.

in the meantime, lets try to keep rating stars about the quality of an application you've purchased. There's plenty of opportunities to discuss business strategy and what "free" means in the forum.
Thx

Question: What's the difference from the Randomizer Add-On?

cricketw
I don't quite see how this differs from the Randomizer except that it comes with two sets of quotes and there's the option to set a date for a transition. This seems like something that should be included as an update to the Randomizer. Are there any other added bonuses of this add-on? It seems that the Randomizer is the better value. It looks like everything shown in the demo for this block could be done with the EXCEPT setting the date.
