Incredibly handy add-on... One of the defaults I end up using again and again across loads of different sites. Brill that it's free!

I have used this add-on as the starting point for making some long content pages on a 'scroll' site. This has saved me a huge amount of time. Each section required several content areas to be brought in from other pages, and with a small amount of work to create a custom template, this ticks all the boxes.

This add-on is insightful, super useful, and amazing that it is free! It's very much appreciated, good work.

This add-on makes it easy to quickly build a news area.

I use it on a pagetype with a right sidebar. In the main area there are the ten newest articles in full length, using this add-on, and in the sidebar there is an overview of the current and archived articles (only the headlines, of course), using the default pagelist template.

Perfect! And it works fine under concrete5 version 5.5.1.

I have updated the addon so it is compatible with Concrete 5.5.
(I am posting this as a review because there is no way for me to edit my response below).

Page List Teasers is the basis of web pages with concrete5.

I needed to have a page list with images from an existing block. The Page List Teasers block did this without trouble.
Then i needed to do the same from an existing custom block created with designer content. That one didn't work because the designer content is created as 1 area.
With very quick help of Jordan and a little diving into the code i got this working too!

My client wants a couple of news teasers on the front page to get folks to click through. Enter the Page List Teasers. Problem solved! Handily pulls the page content to the front page with a succinct teaser truncated to an ellipsis.

Jordan is always disproving the statement "You get what you pay for" by offering these gems for free.

I am very sorry that this addon gave you problems. For future reference, you (or anyone) can post a message to the support forum, or pm me through the community here, or just email me directly at concrete@jordanlev.com with any issues and I will help you address them as soon as possible.

I have figured out what the problem is and updated this addon so it works with Concrete 5.4.1 -- this problem should not happen again. If for some reason it does, though (and this is true for any addon), you do not need to reinstall your whole site -- you can navigate to your dashboard (http://yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard) and remove the addon via the same "Add Functionality" screen you originally installed it from.

This is the first addon I tried when testing the Concrete5 package and it crashes the site. Not a good start hey :~ So much for the reliability of Concrete5. If i install this and select the Teaser template in the page list custom template option, the whole page is blank after I save. No HTML is output and I can't even access the admin area to undo it. I had to delete and reinstall the the whole system.
