Hi Tony, is it possible when using ProPhoto in the grid view with pagination (displaying about 16 thumbs at a time. to have the image open as pop up when clicked rather than be above the thumbnail grid?

the proPhoto block doesn't have a popup option by default. You can set it up in conjunction with the popup and image details blocks.

...but a much simpler solution is to use the image search block, which has a popup option and displays thumbs as a grid:
