I'm new with concrete5 and somethime its hard to understand the basic logic behind. Today I've tried the entire day to get the standard search block running. I did all the suggested steps from the concrete5 forum entries, but no success. Then I found your plugin and thought "... let's try it, cannot be worse...". So I installed it (without problems), changed the standard search block to your search template and suprise, suprise the search function was running instantly without doing any further action. Don't ask me why but it works.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, ...., you saved my day !!!!!!!
PS: It would be better to have the block name infront of the expanding search and it could disappear on expanding and appear without, but this is no major issue.
