garbage addon

doesnt work at all in 5.5 -- looked at this for hours - check server config- can print pdfs -- in testing mpdf - have no idea why this dies - its hitting the controller - but i can edit the heck out of the whole controller page - even delete all code- and it doesn't error - its like the code is not being read at all - yet - the controller itself is being requested....

also using blank plain yogurt.. to make sure no character coding problems.

dont understand why this addon wants to pass the data in the form of a form post.. i think the problem lies here - its passing it in the url. - just doesnt seem right - for the way mpdf can be run.... there has to be a better simpler way workign on shelling this out the right way.. just upset i have to fix everthing with concrete 5- been using it a day and nothign but problem - poor documentation - found several errors had to fix - to get things running - i have use dozens of cms - and never such problems with poor incorrect documentation - and i have never had problems with free addons - either - tons of problems with paid - strange as it may be..

yes lucky for me - i sit here like an idiot - spending 6 hours already which i dont have because i really liked what this was supposed to do. i am not a lay person - and have troubleshooted tons of mods - i have purchased for other cms - however all my free ones always worked great.. so - i am lucky i didnt spend money just time - which for me is more valuable - anyway moving aside from this and to the problem - its not initiating the mpdf file i have looked at this last 6 lines of code in the controller and am completely dumbfounded why it wont initiate- - its just very hard to believe that everyone here can just push a button use the package installer and bam have a nice feature - and i cant? it just doesnt make sense... and what is worse - i am pretty good at answering these things myself - because that is the way that i have always managed -- so i will work with this 20 hours to find out why i am special and the only one the package doesnt work for ....

Great addon

Thanks for this straightforward addon. Does the job well.

I do have a question about it - not sure if this is the right place to do it as I am a concrete5 greenie...

Is there a way to specify where the page breaks? I have a test page herehttp://allfrom1supply.net/index.php?cID=97... and you can see if you save as pdf that it breaks it into 3 pages when it could be done in 2.

Hello, thank you for using Save As PDF. I needed a single, quick way to produce a PDF from arbitrary content and this was the result. I didn't build a lot of additional options in to it as the aim was simplicity. I believe there are other PDF generation addons in the Marketplace that may have additional functionality. Take care, and thank you for the review! -J

Great! Like the generation of select area

luns4d
Straight forward, Does what I had needed. I like the generation of an area, so I can control the amount of graphics generated in the pdf. I will use this a lot. I like that it does NOT include "it's block(term?)" in the pdf.

Easy PDF Integration

One of the things that I hate the post about printing from the Internet is that you never know whether or not WYSIWYG!

This eliminates the problem while probably saving a tonne of trees because I would rather have a PDF than a printout!

Great work!
