Does your SEO require you to structure your sitemap.xml file with different <priority> and <changefreq>? Ever wonder how to do this in Concrete5? This plugin exposes undocumented core functionality in Concrete5 that is not shown by default. Once installed, you’ll have 2 new page attributes that can be changed which will change the <priority> and <changefreq> values on your sitemap.xml file. There is also a settings page where you can change the defaults that Concrete5 uses.
Changing these settings is not guaranteed to make a difference with your Google search results. Its unknown if Google truly utilizes these settings at all.
Make sure to regenerate your sitemap.xml file after you make changes. You can do this from your Dashboard > System & Settings > Optimization > Automated Jobs page in Concrete5.
