Assigned Version 4 but Version 3.3.1 shows up in project

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am staging a replacement for an old Concrete 5 site (V5) that used an earlier Version of Touch Gallery. In Marketplace I purchased a new license for Version 4 and assigned it to the project. However, when in the website I downloaded and installed it, it came up as version 3.3.1. What's up?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out. It is a bit confusing indeed but no worries it is perfectly normal.

The only difference between versions 3.3.1 and 4 is that 4 works with concrete v9 but 3.3.1 doesn't.

When it came time to adapt my packages to concrete v9 I had a choice between making a version that would work everywhere or making a separate version. The latter was simpler so that's what I did.

Other than that they are exactly the same. If you're on concrete v8 you'll get 3.3.1 and if you are on concrete v9 you'll get 4.

Let me know if anything is not clear.

Perfectly clear, and I thought it might be something like that. Thanks.
