2. You will likely want to enable Pretty Urls. If you do not the link will need to be www.example.com/index.php/@username
3. Enjoy @username profile urls

1. Q: How do I disable the redirection?
   A: Just uninstall Vanity Urls. Simple!
2. Q: Visitors are getting the login page when they browse to a vanity url
   A: Make sure you have Public Profiles enabled.
       Dashboard > System & Settings > Login & Registration > Public Profiles
3. Q: Visitors are getting an Not Found page
   A: Make sure to enable Pretty Urls or use the www.example.com/index.php/@username format
