You can inject any CSS rule via Carousel > Carousel Design > Button > CSS.
And regarding your second question, it seems you have a js error or something that prevent the slider functioning properly. Could you provide a live link so I can look into it?

Has your block view been tweaked in any way? I see some strange HTML markups? Could you plz send me your site credentials via private msg, so I can check your settings?
sorry did you managed to have a look please?
Hi,
You actually had inserted some unclosed "strong" tags inside the title/description fields breaking the overall HTML markups. If you need bolder/bigger titles, you can use built-in slider header h1-h6 combo box which is available for each slider just in front of title textbox.
Plus, I remove google fonts of the sample you used as the template, so you should see similar fonts in slider captions with your current theme fonts.

With regard to your first question, by clicking on "chevron down" icon on the top-right corner of each slide, you will see the advanced options, one of which is URL Label.
And I didn't get what do you mean in the second question. You unchecked the "Active" checkbox and the slide still shows up?
