3 column - alpha / omega
Permalink Browser Info Environment
in the instance where i set up a page design as 3 column...i would like to have the "alpha" column wider and the "omega" column...
is the easiest way to accomplish this???:
- just remove he width from ".container_16 .grid_6"
- then give alpha and omega unique widths
thanks

Sorry to bother you again... i have a question that is off topic.
I am trying to use an 'include' jquery megamenu for my navigation.
- the include appears but the dependent .js file that the include is calling does not want to work.
Would you know how to pull this off?
thanks

Can you give me a little more info - like where you're placing the files and how/where you're calling them? Also, did you try clearing your site's cache (Dashboard->Sitewide Settings and click the Clear Cache button in the bottom right) and your browser's cache?
I am trying to use an include as my main navigation - working fine by itself here:
-http://cle01app002.attevo.com/themes/featurist/nav.php#...
So what i am doing in the header just above the auto nav is adding the include just under where the div is called:
<div id="nav" class="container_12">
<?php
$this->inc('/nav.php');?>
Well... see link below - the menu options appear but the flyouts do not (i understand the issue with the spacing in the css - all just need the menus to appear)
-http://cle01app002.attevo.com/
also when i log in - i cannot see the EDIT menu options at the top anymore....
btw - this is site for where i work im trying to put together.

Where are you on this? I'm not seeing the menu on that page at all (in your second link)
the .js includes are giving me huge problems
i have elected to build a similar menu all in CSS now.
thanks for your help - have a good one. featurist forever!

hi - sorry to bother you again...
i have been able to place my css menu into the header file - which contains fly-outs.
- when you roll over the menu on the front page the "slideshow" image renders above the menu. see link - just hit Cancel when prop shows up...http://www.superunit.net/attevo/...
- on inner pages menu is fine. see link - just hit Cancel when prop shows up...http://www.superunit.net/attevo/index.php?cID=71...
thank you for your time

You just need to give the dropdown div a z-index of 50 or so. So add z-index:50 to .dropdown_5columns for example.
You could also target .alpha & .omega on just certain page types (Full width for example) by doing #full .alpha
