Public Profiles enabled - Strange new "Account"-Menu on the upper right

have you tried that "Enable Public Profiles" thing already?
In 5.7 there is a new strange whatever-menu on the upper right corner - instead of a new entry in the autonav.. whatever, that strange menu doesn't work due to z-index issues.
btw: what about putting this great theme on github?

To hide it, I simply added this CSS:
#ccm-account-menu-container { display: none !important; visibility: hidden !important; }
