Error Editing Attributes

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I'm trying to edit attributes (image 1) and it delivers this error (check image 2). I'm guessing it might be related to previously reported problem.

I've added a user to check errors logged in if you need it.

Error is:

ID da página: 260 {"error":{"type":"Whoops\\Exception\\ErrorException","message":"Call to a member function allowEditName() on null","file":"\/home\/porteleva\/public_html\/v2\/concrete\/views\/panels\/details\/page\/attributes.php","line":29,"trace":[{"file":"\/home\/porteleva\/public_html\/v2\/concrete\/views\/panels\/details\/page\/attributes.php","line":29,"function":null,"class":"Whoops\\Exception\\ErrorException","args":["Call to a member function allowEditName() on null"]},{"file":"\/home\/porteleva\/public_html\/v2\/concrete\/vendor\/filp\/whoops\/src\/Whoops\/Run.php","line":434,"function":"handleError","class":"Whoops\\Run","args":[1,"Call to a member function allowEditName() on null","\/home\/porteleva\/public_html\/v2\/concrete\/views\/panels\/details\/page\/attributes.php",29]},{"file":"[internal]","line":0,"function":"handleShutdown","class":"Whoops\\Run","args":[]}]},"errors":["Call to a member function allowEditName() on null"]}

Hello,

I haven't come across this error before, but I did a quick look on the forum to see if anyone has a fix for it. I see some people have reported similar issues but nobody has mentioned a solution

https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/permission-i...

It seems to be a concrete5 error to do with user permissions rather than with the theme itself. You could try clearing cache and checking if you get this problem with a different user signed in.

Might be worth raising this as an issue on the concrete5 bugtracker as it seems other people are experiencing this when they update from older versions of concrete5.

If you'd like I can take a look, but please do send the login details privately on a pm or by email contact@pilipalawebdesign.com as this support thread is public.

Thanks, Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, the problem seems to be gone. I've asked the client to edit attributes and it worked fine. Meanwhile, I've done it to and had no error. Will keep in touch if it happens again and becomes regular. I believe it was a caching issue.

Anyway, thank you for your assistance.

Have a nice day!
