Unable to access Composer -> Design

I can get into all the other edit menus, but I can't access Design, it just gives me a blank grey panel.

Tried different versions of PHP 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 no change. Well now, that's interesting. The problem seems to be only on the home page, I can open it on the others. Could what the other gentleman did to fix my homepage affected my ability to get in there? I can't edit and save other versions of the home page either.
Could you clear the cache and confirm whether or not it persists.
Already tried that, a few times... ;-)
Plus, when you load the home page, the slideshow does something weird. It seems to overlap the page and then shrink to fit the width.

It doesn't seem like a specific theme problem. Do you see any error in the console?
