Sure. A new version compatible with the V9 will be released. Re the timeline, I cannot come with an exact date at the moment.

I am happy to hear you will be coming out with an updated version of the Pixel theme for V9 of Concrete5. Do you have a rough estimate for when this may be? There are some security updates our programmer has worked on, and we wouldn't be able to move them live without an updated theme that will work with V9. So, I would just like to be able to provide him with a rough estimate of time.

Unfortunately, giving an exact time at this point is not possible. We should wait for the first stable version and also its documentation before going any further.
