Thank you for your response. I thought those two answers would be the case, but I'll also look into the entities issue.
Love the Salix theme thus far.
Love the Salix theme thus far.
Finally did get it to install cleanly, but I had to go into SQL and delete the content of three Attribute Tables first: AttributeValues, AttributeKeys, and CollectionAttributeValues (I think that's right - the errors will lead you through the sequence).
I also removed any custom entities before I tried any of this, and it made no difference.
This was specifically tied to the Attributes structure - possibly the items are being removed in the wrong order by the installation of the theme. I had a lot of Attributes and values in my dev site.
Hope this helps.

Great, glad you are liking the theme.
Thank you for describing how you solved the problem. It may help other people if they encounter the same issue.

We have tested this using concrete5 v 8.0.3 and Salix v 1.1.0, first using Elemental theme without sample content and then with Elemental theme sample content. We have not been able to replicate this error. Possibly it is something to do with your development content in version 8?
Version 8 is still fairly new, possibly there could be a bug to do with this issue. For example:
https://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/8-0-3/error-deleting-expre...
I'm not sure if this is related or not to your error.
In any case, if you don't need your development content, and are going to overwrite it with Salix sample content, I would suggest that you try again with a clean install of concrete5 without the development content (delete the files and database and start from scratch). Before you do this, you should save your files and database in case you want to use them again.
If you want to keep your development content, you may need to look at your SQL and manually delete what it is complaining about. Make sure you save your original site's database and files first before you attempt to delete anything in SQL.
Thanks,
Jennifer
