A couple of questions
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi.
Just looking at your new creation, a few questions if I may.
1: In the mobile version is it possible to have the nav menu in line (either left or right) with the logo so as to take up less space on the home page as opposed to underneath right as it is in the demo?
2: Can a site be built without the side nav at all using the autonav templates?
3: Can you have a full screen image on any of the page types?
4: Do you have colour control over all elements and pages?
5: In the homepage demo viewed on a pc, as you scroll down the page, the second section slides up and over the boot photo, is it possible to remove the white background from each section allowing the photo the show through in the background behind the other smaller sections?
Best,
Marty

Hi James, thanks for the quick reply.
Re: question three. So if I wanted a full screen image on a page other than the home page I would load the home page type - would I be able to set up a blog within this page type?
Best,
Marty

Hi Marty,
Currently, I configured my sample content to use right sidebar pagetype to use as the default blog page. But you can easily use the home pagetype as the default blog page, although there is a bit of configuration involved to set it up using the composer. No coding involved though. If you are familiar with setting up the composer with 5.7 this should be pretty easy.
Thank you for taking interest. I hope I answered your question.
Regards,
James

I'll try to answer your questions the best that I can.
1. Can be done through custom css. Actually, now that I think about it, this does make the mobile view more compact. Will most likely change it in the next version release.
2.Unfortunately, the sidenav will always be there unless you tweak a few elements. Will not advice unless you have a good knowledge with CSS.
3.The fullsceen parallax is only available for the homepage, so if, for instance, you want a fullscreen image on a certain page you just have to apply the home pagetype to that page.
4.Yes, color customisation is available for a lot of elements. Usually if an enduser found an element without color customisation, they'd message me and that would be fixed on the next version release.
5. This can only be done by removing the parallax effect, making the banner position fixed, and removing page background colors. Can only be done through custom css.

James
