Updated Version

Is there anyway you can help with the updated version you said I can download. I don't see how to do this in concrete5. It still says 1.0 in my extend functionality area. I don't see a download for the update anywhere. It's like going in circles. I must be new to all this
Thanks so much,
Glenn

It’s totally fine. Thanks for all your help. The client liked it as is. So next purchase the update will be there!
I also noticed that you can’t alter the color for the other CSS forms of the Navigation. The orange lines still stay in there. Maybe the CSS for these should pull from the theme colors?
Also the image area on the about and other pages of the site should have the option of just putting an image in there instead of text. It gets a bit redundant. I didn’t see anywhere to remove it.
http://www.donwelker.com is where the site resides. It looks cute for a small site.

Hi Glenn,
I'll make sure to include those on our next version release.
The site looks fantastic. I didn't recognize it as our theme at first glance. One of our css guys really likes the colors.
Thank you for the helpful feedback.

Hi There,
I’m wondering if you can help me integrate a blog into the website. I don’t se anywhere on how to insert it. It says the STRIDE blog is easy, but I don’t see it anywhere. It would be nice to access the actual Mock up of the template to see what it is. Is there somewhere I can do this? I am going to buy this template in a few days time once again for another client as well cause i enjoyed working with it so much.
Thanks,
Glenn

Hi Glenn,
For this version of Stride, to create a blog you can click on the composer button(icons with two pages) on the upper right corner of the site on edit mode. Choose "Right sidebar" and when your directed to the page click the settings button so the composer form shows up. Fill in the necessary details and choose where the page should reside (ideally under blog). Click attributes and choose thumbnail and find a nice image for your blog page icon.
After the page has been published you can also add in a pagelist block on the right sidebar to get the previous pages.
This might seem a bit tedious for now but we are working on the next version with a blog composer in the sample content. I will immediately update you once its released.
Regards,
Jerome

Do I have to buy this version or can I just download it and upgrade it? Because I already have the customers site in place

Hi Glenn,
Just update the theme you currently have. Don't forget to clear cache.

I think you cant see the update button because the license is not linked to the domain your working on.
A workaround for this is download the latest version by going to your concrete5 account page -> transactions -> licenses and look for stride57 and click download archive.
Download the latest version and unzip inside your package directory. Go back to the extend concrete5 dashboard page and you should see the upgrade button.
