Nav bar customization

I was wondering about converting the default navigation bar to a drop-down. I love the style and placement of it, so I would rather not try to change the them around otherwise, but I haven't been able to figure out how to edit, or what to edit, to attempt to create a drop down for sub-pages in the standard header navigation bar. I can use add-ons and do it with another block, but that sort of defeats the idea. I did manage to tweak the nav_container fields at one point that it displayed the subpages full-time, but that was all I ended up with. There was no drop-down function, they were just dropped into the middle of the header image.

Admittedly, I'm quite a novice when it comes to coding these days, I haven't done any recently, so I may just not know where to look, or if it's even an option at this time.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi,
I'm sorry that I can't offer much help on this. Unfortunately this theme does not include markup for a dropdown menu, so adding one in would require some design/programming work. On the other hand, you might try the "Superfish" dropdown menu addon in the marketplace and see if that works for you -- I don't know if the style would fit in perfectly, but it should at least be functional and perhaps "good enough" depending on your requirements.
