I read that you are considering adding links to Blueberry, I think you could try doing Lightbox like popups at the same time, if you write the links into database and make the link and Lightbox accessible for every individual image from the setup. :) The Lightbox would work the best if you can choose the image from filemanager. I actually considered adding the Lightbox to your block, but then came to my senses and just ask if you could consider such thing. :)
