AutoEmbed not working
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello. I’m thoroughly enjoying working with this add-on. But I am having problems with the AutoEmbed plugin. I have followed your video carefully, and am confident that I have done things correctly. I have attached a screen grab of both the Plugin Installer page and of the specific Embed settings showing the configuration.
However, when I paste a Youtube url, I get a message saying “This url could not be automatically embedded”.
I am having the same problem on both localhost and live site. In case you want to have a look at the result, here is a link to a page on my live site where you can see that the url was AutoLinked but not embedded:
www.www.dawntodusk.net.au/index.php/explore/glory-god/astronomy/blac...
Any help would be appreciated.

I have also just discovered that if I try to use the "Insert Media Embed" button in CKEditor, I get a message "Failed to fetch content for the given url". Don't know if the two problems are related.
Hello,
Could you provide me with that Youtube URL you are trying to embed so I can try it?
Also, in the video, the URL I use for the plugin configuration should probably not be used in production.
The best way for you to configure that plugin would be to register a free account athttp://iframe.ly
That will allow you to get your own URL for that service. They will give you an API key which you can then use in the Media Embed configuration like this:
config.embed_provider = "//iframe.ly/api/oembed?url={url}&callback={callback}&api_key=your_api_key_here";
Like this, instead of using a public embed URL you have no control over you'll have your own.

Thanks again. I tried lots of different Youtube videos, always with the same result.
I will pursue your suggestion and let you know the result.

Many thanks. It took a while and a few failures, but finally it's working fine.
Great to hear. Thank you for letting me know.
If you had time to leave a review for the plugin it would be a tremendous help to others considering using it. Prospective users often rely on opinions from users like you to make a decision.
You can do it here if you want:https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/ckeditor-pluginator/rev...
