Suggestion: Options

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I'm getting a lot of use out of this add-on, it's great! As a suggestion I'd really like the ability to be able to set the class or ID of an element within the view. A good example might be that I can create a block that can be either blue or green on the front-end. The end-user would be presented with a drop-down box when adding the block (Red, Blue), and that would drop in a class red or blue for that particular element.

Obviously the dev would need to know how to edit the view.php in order to attached the variable to the right html element.

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the suggestion. My original thinking was that fields like this wouldn't make sense because they wouldn't do anything on their own -- and as long as you'd have to modify the code, you could add your own field. But I have come across a few cases where something like this would come in handy (along the lines of your example) and I am beginning to see how it would be useful to build this out so that you wouldn't need to muck around with the database schema, controller, add/edit dialog, etc.

I am hoping to implement a bunch of new features in the next few weeks and I'll definitely think about adding something like this.
