Slider js doesn't load in display: none; pane

I'm attempting to have two product slider blocks on one page using twitter bootstrap tabbed panes.
One pane displays when the page loads, so this means that one pane is not loading properly due to the css property display: none;.
I do not know js very well, so I do not know the best way to trigger that particular block.
Any ideas?
