Great plugin by the way. I've been using it and the users really enjoy the power of Google.
How would I go about customizing the search button. Ex, change color or replace with a graphic?

You would want to look into using css, the input field is contained within a div with a class of gsearch so I would do something like
.gsearch input{
Depends how you want to style it but there are lots of good tutorials on google on how to style an input box to make it look different. Let me know if you get stuck.
