Filter by file set?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm not asking if you can make filtering by file set possible - I'm wondering what you think the level of difficulty would be for someone with low- to medium-level knowledge of block design to buy this add on and modify it to filter by file set instead of file type.

It's already a very nice addon - but you would have a seriously powerful addon if filtering by fileset were a feature in stead of filetype!
