Add-on not working

Applying block to anywhere on page gives 'Undefined variable $type'. See attached. Needs a fix or a refund asap. Thanks.

Do not use Bedrock, Bootstrap or Font Awesome with my custom framework, don’t like the code bloat. So I removed reference to ‘Font Awesome’ in the controller, replaced the’fa-eye’ with <?php echo t('Views:’);?> in the view and changed font-size to 1em. Works perfectly.
