Date Archive showing month with no blog posts

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Currently my blog only has one blog post for the month of May. But the date archive shows April and when clicked, it renders a no results found response. How can I rid of April showing? I have checked my sitemap again and again and there are no blog post page types with an April publish date.

Here is my site:http://momentum.dev.studiothink.com/blog...

We have this as well but it shows 2013.

The blog wasn't even installed back then. We installed it in 2014.
This shows on the blog side bar like this:

Archive
2013
Aug
Sep
Nov

Please can you post back here when the update is available

Thanks.

Any updates on this bug. Showing months where no blog posts are present in the Archive? Any guidance as to how to correct it?

Thanks

Update. Sorry, my issue is not in Pro Blog, just Blog search Archive. Disregard for this post. I did not see the page title when i posted.

All I can tell you is to look at the query on line 43 of /packages/problog/blocks/problog_date_archive/controller.php

If your archive is showing a post on that date....then that is because that query is finding one on that date. I couldn't tell you why or how honestly.

You could go to that collectionVersions table and search / remove versions on those dates....but according to that query that should only be pages with that same page_type (pb_post) which doesn't make any sense at all.

Could be those pages changed page_type after you installed ProBlog and so that query sees some really old post that now has the pb_post page_type???

Dunno.

I do know that there is nothing I can tell from the Query that should be different. It is correct. We want the earliest version of any pb_post page_types.

I am open to other ways to achieve that....if there is any.

Hello ChadStrad.

I have the same problem ... are there any news?

If I delete a Blog Post, the month ist still in the Archive-List:
http://www.eventunion.ch/blog/2015/05/der-neue-eventunion-blog/...

You can see 2014 and 2015-Apr in the list, where no longer exists Blogposts. Any idea how I can delete it manually?

yes...if you delete a post, the month and year would still be there. you would need to go to your sitemap and remove/delete those.
