Non-Super User issue

Permalink Browser Info Environment
We installed and tested ProBlog for a client. They recently tried posting their first post and found they were getting a PHP error. When we tested it again everything worked fine at our end but we discovered that it only worked when logged into the Super User account. His account is setup as an administrator and has rights to edit everything but he is not the originally created admin account (the one created during the Concrete install).

In an attempt to remedy the issue, we uninstalled the older v2.0.5 and installed the v2.0.7 which did solve the PHP error but they still can't post. When posting, there doesn't seem to be any way to select the default page type or the post location (which is the error he now gets) - they are both blank. This all works fine in the Super User Account.

Please help.

Thanks

v2? should this be in the problog for C5.7 product area? if so, then you should be on v2.2.2

if you are on C5.6, then you should be on v12.4.4

Apologies, you're right, this should be on the v2 page. We are using Concrete 5.7 for this project.

If you can answer one more question for us, we have updated, reinstalled and re-downloaded this add-on but the highest version we seem to get is v2.0.7. How do we go about finding v2.2.2?

I can't speak to that. The addon is set correctly on the C5 site. And both the package and the version are correct. You will need to notify/check with the core team.

make sure your C5 core is up to date as far as you go as well.

I manually updated C5 to 5.7.3.1 and only then ProBlog would update to 2.2.2.

This did not resolve the issue. It is still saying"You must choose a parent page for this blog entry." when trying to add an entry. This only happens when logged in as anyone but the primary Concrete5 account. And you can't specify the parent location nor can you choose a page type when logged in as anyone but the primary account.
