Using a image for logo.
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi everybody,
I found out that using an image for the logo instead of the default text messes up the lay-out of the theme. When the image exceeds a certain height the image slider is pushed down and a big blue square will appear on the right side of the main page, pushing the content to the left and cutting it even off.
The solution is quite simple. You have to put a default height for the logo. You can do this by adding the following line in the typography.css file (line 23 #page #logo):
height: 60px;
Next to prevent problems in edit mode, add the following line in the main.css file (line 99 #page #contain):
margin-top: 5px;
I found out that 60 pixels is sufficient to keep the lay-out in shape. I hope this is helpful. It took me some struggle to find this minor error.
