Below are two options for what you could do:

OPTION 1 (Change Color of Title Bar): In the layout.css file (found in CSS folder), look for the section called "page headings." Is toward the top. You will change the background color of the class ".grid_16.pageheading h1".

OPTION 2 (Remove title bar): In the header.php file (found in 'elements' folder), look for:
<div class="grid_16 pageheading">..</div>

Remove this and everything inside it (should be line 49 - 52).

I have made note of this, and will add a customization option to change the background color in a future version.

cheers mate...thank you.

I know this may sound stupid but this is the first time i have ever made a site and i have now clue on how to do this...how do i access the css.file for the theme...is it via the dashboard or via my isp user interface??

any help would be much appreciated.

cheers Robert

It would be through your isp interface. The file you're looking for should be located in: yoursite.com/packages/fluid960/themes/fluid960/css/layout.css

Note: I am working on an update release that will allow you to change the background color in the brown bar.

Ok, I have just released 1.1, which now allows you to change the background color, and even choose your own color for the page title and description! You will want to check to update the theme in your dashboard. Or, you may need to re-install it.

sorry to be a pain mate but i have just noticed something else that i would like you to update on the theme for customising if you would??

i want to change the colour of the text colour in the sitemap link at the top of every page so the text shows as white...will you be able to do that for me??

also while you are looking into this is it possible that you could also add a customise section for what colour the sitemap link goes when you are on that particular page...at the moment it turn a peach colour and i would like that to go a lighter shade of blue.

thank you in advance

Robert
