Featurette header issue

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Michael

I think someone else may have posted the same issue as mine, I am getting a tiled effect on my image in the Featurette header.
Also if I add a standard image to the same Header area it is cropped down to the content div width and not full width.

I may well be missing obvious as this is my first 5.7

Any help or advice greatly appreciated

Alex

Hey Alex.

So yes, we're going to address this. That said, in the mean time, that likely signifies that you should use a larger image. Somewhere around 1920 x 400 or so.

There's also a way to get around the width thing for other blocks. If you edit the page template files, you'll see this

<div id="headerShell">
   <?
            $a = new Area('Header');
            $a->enableGridContainer();
            $a->display($c);
        ?>
</div>

you can erase, or comment out $a->enableGridContainer().

Our featurette block breaks out of the container, but it's set that other blocks would be within a container.
