Minified theme no longer displays site properly, shows multiple error messages

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,
We have been using the Minified theme for years on our site with few problems. Today, when I went to add some content, I received an alert that I needed to update my theme. When I clicked the update and install button, the site stopped displaying properly. The site itself displays the following error:
"File /var/www/html/conferenceandevents/concrete/config/../packages/minifiedtheme/themes/minifiedtheme/default.php not found. All themes need default.php and view.php files in them. Consult concrete5 documentation on how to create these files."

Going to the theme view in the dashboard and clicking Inspect shows me this error:
"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/html/conferenceandevents/concrete/single_pages/dashboard/pages/themes/inspect.php on line 52"

Since these are problems in the theme code itself, I am unsure if there is a way for me to fix it on our end. The thumbnail for the theme also does not display, and trying to click remove leads to yet another error. What should we do?

We have even tried repurchasing the license, thinking there was something wrong with our current one. However, it will not let us install the theme, probably because it thinks it's already installed.
