Mobile Navigation unstable on iPhone. I have an iPhone 5c..
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Just like the subject of the issue suggests, the mobile nav shows up on my iPhone with the little hamburger icon and works well with the full screen menu. However, it's unstable and will pop off randomly if you scroll up and down. To get it back I can scroll all the way down and hold to re-load the page and it works again.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Bjorn

Ok, i will check this. Which version of IOS ?
I'm running it on IOS 9.1
Thanks for looking into this I really appreciate the prompt feedback.
Regarding the issue, as said before it will pop off randomly when doing a swipe I cant say what direction specifically but seems to be on the down-swipe. The hight of the mobile nav remains the same and in it's place is rendered a blank section. On re-load, it'll come back.
Thanks

Ok, i will check for the next update.
Just to let you know, I did a fresh install and un-assigned all other add-on's I had. I then installed supermint with the portfolio startup and the problem is still there. I do understand that you will try and fix for the next release but I'm just letting you know.

So maybe I have this working now.
by setting this for mmenu:
.small-display-nav-bar .small-display-nav-bar-inner{
z-index: 10000 !important;
}
Also, looks like to get the drop-downs to work correctly over the image-slider, you have to also make a custom template for the supermint-dropdown:
.mega-menu{
z-index: 1;
}
at least this is working for me...

nah, scrap that, still broken. mobile nav breaks on iPhone 5C for sure
Mmm. it's hard because i can't reproduce this issue on a iphone5s with ios 7.
The mobile navigation disappear when i'm scrolling down and re-appear when scrolling up, that is the behaviour expected.
I will add a option to desactivate the auto-hidding navbar.

If you scroll down, wait to the nav bar disapear and scroll up and wait, the nav bar doesn't reappear ?
This same issue is happening with my iPad. same thing as you scroll down the menu bar will pop off even with the non mobile nav. So all I have is a void section where the bar was. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. For sure though it's not something I'd like to show to a client because I don't know if they will load the page and see a blank nav or one that's working...
everything works perfectly on my macbook pro late 2013 running El Capitan...
make sure you have one of your imagesliders going while testing please. Maybe a clash of Javascript?
using the google dev tools and testing those devices (Apple iPad, Apple iPhone4, 5 ....)
All works flawlessly.
All works flawlessly.
is it possible to tell me how to disable the automatic roll away effect built in here. So that the mmenu and the regular menu always stay there and don't do the roll away thing as it's not working. It rolls away and never comes back and that's no good really.
It will be a option yes, in the next update.
cool. When will be the next update?
Hope this week.
Thanks. So if I keep going on this I should have no problems upgrading to the latest version and then just clicking an option box for "supermint_dropdown" and "supermint_mmenu" that will elect not to roll the nav automatically? It's unfortunate that it's unstable as it's a really nice feature to offer. However, I have done a lot of tests and no matter what, the menu items vanish randomly with only the nav strip remaining. Again, this happens for both menus on mobile devices but works very well on my laptop. Google dev tools for testing devices also works very well. So if it's a problem that could be addressed without having to resort to a static interface all the better.
