Banner container issues
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi
When you add a banner container with an images as part of the header on the layout just under the navigation bar, if you add text and a title to the banner the context then covers the navigation dropdown on mobile devices and so prevents you from being able to navigate to other pages.
Is there something i'm doing wrong or is this a known issue?
Thanks

Unfortunately the site I have at the moment requires log in as it is not yet live. I have also found that if you reduce the width of a browser without using a device, the same issue occurs. I am using chrome as a browser in case that contributes towards the issue.
The Title of the banner container and text overlap the navigation bar if the navigation bar is placed directly above it.
The paragraph I have contains 30 words and the title contains 6 spanning more than 50% of the site width.
If you really need access to it, if you can private message me and I will post the site URL up and remove admin rights for a short period

Hi we can't help with access. Please create us a temp admin login and PM that together with the site URI.

Hi there,
What you would need to do here is actually hide that text on mobile; the container block is not a responsive block per se - hence your problem.
If you open up the main.css file in your theme directory you can add the following CSS:
You need to add this in 2 places - before the } on line 316 and before the } on line 361.
By doing this you will effectively hide the text on mobile and solve the issue.
Please make sure you back up all your files before doing this.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy
That would have been my final option.
Thanks for taking a look at the site and appreciate the help in the matter.
I will add the CSS where required
