Bonjour Michel,
I'm trying to find something resembling the squarespace blog:http://blog.squarespace.com/, but SS is not releasing that template. I have found your Wire Theme that is somewhat similar. My first question would be:
1) Can the right side of the template (where the text is) contain: additional images (with carousel), videos (youtube and vimeo format).
2) Can the main image on the left side of normal pages be one of several that would rotate or change by clicking on it? (Carousel?)
3) Where in the left menu the older blog posts could be displayed and navigated to?

Will try to get back to you with clear answers.
1) The right side of the template can contain different block types. You may customize them with css if needed.
2) You can add a slider or any block type but the theme currently only take care of the "focus" block for auto-resizing height. You will need make some JS and block changes to be able to do that.
3) Yes you can by adding a page list block or an autonav block, but this area is too small by default to display post images. It was thought for main navigation and not for a long list.
