Support for Free Cookies Disclosure

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

We have an issue with the free cookies disclosure plugin that is causing a JavaScript conflict on some pages.

If we purchase the Formigo Cookies Disclosure add-on, would this be something you could fix?

Thanks,
Alan

Hi we'd only look at issues related to our add-on. The chances are your conflict may be related to other add-ons, as opposed to the free cookies disclosure add-on, in which case we'd not be able to help even if our add-on caused similar issues.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The issue is that the HTML code for the cookie banner is not being outputted on some pages but the JavaScript code is still present, which is causing an error and preventing all other JavaScript on the page from working.

Is the Formigo add-on using the same code as the free add-on? I would be willing to purchase the add-on if this is something that is fixed in this version.

Thanks,
Alan

The free add-on uses the same script cookiesdirective.js I think, but it has been built in a different way from recollection. I can't say what the issue might be that causes that.

Would you be able to assist if the problem is still there after purchasing it?

I would recommend asking someone to look at the free version, the problem may be not be with the add-on but other factors as I mentioned.

Unfortunately we cannot do that. I'm sorry we can't be more helpful here.
