Page lists and topics can only pull from one part of site map at a time

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Okay so I have one more issue I need resolved with Grand Gallery and this one is pretty important. When I make a grand gallery based off a page list, it can only pull pages from pages and subpages that I select. The grand gallery does not know how to pull pages from child pages of child pages.

So if I tell grand gallery to pull pages from home, and then I have a page under home that's called "media" and then media has a ton of pages underneath it, the grand gallery can only display the "media" page and has no way of getting the child pages of "media."

Right now if I want grand gallery to work with topics and page lists, I have to put all the pages on my entire sitemap under "home," direct the gallery at "home," and then narrow down the gallery based on topics. If I have my site setup correctly though with pages organized correctly on the sitemap then the grand gallery pagelist is useless and doesn't work.

Hi
I assume, just selecting "Home" as parent page is not a solution for your problem?
And you need "Include all child pages" checkbox + "Page Type" select for displaying your list?
Or am I over-complicating this?

That is correct. I could live without the page types part, but if you want to throw it in there, feel free. Maybe someday I will need to narrow down galleries based on that criteria.

So yes, if I select home as the parent page the grand gallery can only pull pages from the child pages of "home." If there are any child pages for the child pages then the grand gallery can't find those with "home" selected as the parent of the gallery.

It's done. You can update Grand Gallery to latest version now.
You can filter by Page Types and include all children pages in galleries based on Page List.
