Select more than one image from file manager when adding images

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

Firstly, your add-on is awesome. You should detail that this add on supports Composer on your C5 Add On page - it's a key reason why I purchased it!

One slight snag I do have though; I cannot select multiple images from the file manager. My users are almost certain to not upload images and use sets or folders, meaning that they'll only use the file manager for image selection. They'll be uploading multiple images, but it would seem that the add-on only permits a single image to be selected, not multiple.

Are you able to consider a feature request of providing functionality that would allow multiple file selection from file manager?

Cheers - a 5 star review will be on its way if you're able to crack the above :)

Hi,

currently it is not possible to select more than one image from File Manager selector in concrete5. It was possible in earlier versions of concrete5, but not now (not sure why developers gave up on this functionality).

Anyway, last I heard c5 team is working on redesigning File Manager. So maybe something will change in future. For the time being, I can only advise to store images in folders/file sets.

P.S. In theory I could make my own image selector (where multiple images could selected), but it would require too much time for little gains from my point of view. Maybe if it would be super bare-bones, then maybe, but I can't promise anything right now.

Ah, sorry, I didn’t realise that this was a limitation in File Manager (as you infer, this was possible in older versions of C5).

I’ll try to educate my users to make use of sets.

Thanks for the swift response.
