Slider thumbnail size

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm trying to use the slider custom template to achieve a full width slider (1x column). However, despite leaving the thumbnail height and width fields empty to ensure full width and height, the thumbnails are still being resized to something a lot smaller. Can you advise how I can achieve full width and height for thumbnails via the slider template? I'm almost certainly doing something wrong so I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

Cheers

Hi

Have you set "Number of columns" to 1? Those fields are in the same tab as in your screenshot.

Yes, the column is set to 1 for all display types. This aspect is working correctly I think; only one image is displayed per slide.

Is your site accessible through Internet or is it hosted locally? It should work out-of-the-box. Right now, it's hard to say what is the root of problem.

Double check that you are using image of proper dimensions and you are not overriding global settings by block settings (not sure if you are changing those in block or in Dashboard page).

It’s hosted on the internet, Apache 2.4, PHP 7.1. Not sure how to interpret “image of proper dimensions” - what dimensions do you advise? I can repeat this with images that have a width of 1000px and more, yet the thumbnail renders significantly smaller. There are no overriding local block settings - all changes have been made in the global block settings via the dashboard.

Happy to PM you the site URL if that helps?
