Text width changes once page has loaded
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
I have Pro Photo and think it's great, but I have a small snag and wonder if anyone has an idea of how to solve it....
I put a lot of text into the 'description' field of each photo. The text is wider than the 400px image when the page first loads and this looks great.
However, once another page has loaded and I click back to the first page, the text has shrunk to a total width of 400px. This change affects how I present links, etc.
Does anyone have any idea why the text width changes when I revisit an already-loaded page?
Many thanks, Luke

can you provide a link to a page that's doing this?
Hi Tony,
Sure: http://www.whatsofa.co.uk/family-sofas/...
The first page you see has wide text. tab to another photo then tab back and the text has narrowed to the width of the photo.
(To see the text wide again, click the refresh button.)
Is there a way to keep it wider than the photo width?
Many thanks, Luke

by default it resizes the image info section to be the same width as the image, but here's a fix if you want the description to always be at 100% of the area width:
attached is a zipped file.
unzip it, and copy it to /blocks/tony_pro_photo/templates/custom_view.php
then, click on the block while in edit mode, and select "custom template", and choose that new one from the list.
Hope that works for you. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
Thank - Tony

Hi Tony,
Lovely job - that works absolutely fine and is just what I was after.
Many thanks indeed from a sunny UK,
Luke
